Wires used by Edward Leedskalnin at Coral Castle - Electricity or Magneticity?

It is no secret that Edward Leedskalnin never used electricity. He stayed away from all modern technology. Or did he? Below, you can see plenty of wires used by Edward Leedskalnin in the tool room of Coral Castle. Why did he need them? Was he making his own electricity or as Ed would call it "magneticity"? Did these wires help him construct Coral Castle? Were they a part of Ed's radio experiments or his flywheel ?
