Newspaper calls Coral Castle a Love Monument. Is it true?
You can see a clipping below from the newspaper "Lawrence Journal World" published on March 27, 1983. The article has the title "Monument to love still proves baffling to engineers". Mysterious Stone Pedestals at Coral Castle - Why did Edward Leedskalnin Put them all over?
Coral Castle is known for many strange megalithic objects like the obelisk, moon fountain and the sundial. However, Ed has placed many rectangular coral blocks all over the castle. This has raised many eyebrows, but Ed has put his "special lime mortar" on the top of all of these rocks which clearly indicates that these blocks were used for a specific purpose. Some have argued that Ed used them as lantern stands and others say these blocks have some mysterious energy. A researcher and a tour guide, Ray Ramirez claimed that these blocks were capable of transmitting energy, which is why Ed placed them in strategic locations. Any ideas?

Ludington Daily News - Coral Castle Ignores Hurricane Andrew
An article from the newspaper "Ludington Daily News" published on September 23, 1992. It is titled "Florida's Stonehenge ignores Andrew", Hurricane Andrew that is. People were surprised that Coral Castle was intact after 'the costliest hurricane in US history" hit it with full force. Three Ton Gate at Coral Castle - Homestead, Florida
Edward Leedskalnin created three different moving stones: The Nine Ton Revolving Gate, The Sun Couch and The Three Ton Gate. Fortunately
for us, at least one of them still works in Coral Castle. It is the 3 ton
gate. It is one of the first objects you will encounter as the tour begins. It
looks like a large triangular chunk of cheese you see in cartoons. It is a lot
of fun to watch visitors spin this gate. When the tour guide asks a visitor to
rotate the 3 ton gate, he usually braces himself to use all his strength.
However, the person quickly realizes how easy it is to spin this rock, and then
uses his fingers. This is a familiar sight in Coral Castle, which makes visitors
smile, if not laugh out loud.

8 Foot Tall Barbecue Cooker at Coral Castle
Ed has built a massive rectangular megalith with clean cut windows on all 4 sides. It is commonly referred to as the "Barbecue Cooker". The
explanation I heard was not impressive: "Edward Leedskalnin used this to
cook chicken and hot dogs. He would create a fire in the pit, and insert the
food into the differential. Now, we have an air tight vessel (differential)
which cooks the food faster and will prevent it from splattering all over the
place. Ed imagined his sweet sixteen will come and use this cooker to make him
food on a daily basis."
